Unsafe products result in injuries and death for hundreds of thousands of people every year. Every year there are 200-300 product recalls, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. Throughout the years motor vehicles of a certain make have been recalled by Nissan Truck, Porsche, Jaguar, Cadillac, Lexus, Audi, Volkswagen and more. Noteworthy was the product liability case against Firestone and Bridgestone Tires for tires on Ford Explorers and other SUVs which were linked to rollovers and numerous motorists’ injuries or deaths.
